“The Blowtorch is one of my absolute favorite patterns and I always try it on new rivers. The bulk of the time it works excellently. To add a lighter colored variation to the Blowtorch, I tried a hares ear version several years ago. It has become a great pattern during the warmer months and whenever caddis pupae are around.
